Mission: To achieve equitable access to quality child care for all children and working families in New York State.
Short-term goal: To increase the state and federal investment in child care; to ensure that federal and state pandemic relief is distributed quickly to those who need it most; to decrease administrative barriers for parents and providers; to increase wages for early care educators and reduce parents costs; to raise provider reimbursement for subsidy care; and to win a state commitment to achieve universal child care coverage by 2026.
Long-term goal: To provide equitable, affordable or free access to quality child care for all New York children and working families, and a family sustaining income for child care providers.
